Ramada Cup 2010 - Abu Dhabi - UAE
Congratulation to all the participants in Ramadan Cup 2010 Abu Dhabi happened on 26th and 27th of august (last weekend). I am really proud and I am sure all of us share the same feeling about what we have been done lately. Hard work driving us to the EXCELLENCE, nice people around us with the same goals (FRIENDSHIP) and humbleness and RESPECT to understand that Brazilian Jiu-jitsu as life, we are always learning something new.
In our prays, FAMILY should come first (the one that chose us - the blood one -and the one that we chose - friends and people we choose to hang out with). InshAllah we are keep having this kind of fun for years and years ahead.

ABOUT GRADUATION
As we could see at the "Graduation System" I just published before this one, it would take around 60 years to achieve to the highest graduation in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (Red Belt). So, I don't need to tell you its a long-term commitment to achieve our highest goal. I know a lot of people just participate in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) as an entertainment or as a sport and they don't really want to make that kind of commitment (60 years...come on!! That's too long, isn't it!?).
Well, I like to see the students as a "Red Belt Project" (RBP) - I used to see them as BBP (Black Belt Project) but I've changed it. I do it that way because I am an optimistic person. And, as an optimistic person I think life is so good and every single day should be a new adventure, where we learn and we enjoy all aspects of it.
So, expecting to graduate each student as a Red Belt is believing in a long-term journey from my point of view. In order to achieve this goal we need to maintain a healthy life. Eating healthy, practicing BJJ (physical exercise), maintain good attitudes among family, friends and people we see everyday. In short, in order to achieve the RBP we need to be better. That’s why our team motto is “Excellence, Respect and Friendship”.
And God be with us.
